Versace have unveiled the advertising campaign for their upcoming men’s fragrance, Eros Energy. As previously announced, the campaign stars Channing Tatum, and was shot by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott.

In the promo, Tatum is seen as Eros himself, the mythological God of love in all its glory, energy, passion, and intensity.

Versace’s modern take pits Eros in a race against his own arrow, a race that continually challenges Eros to be better, mentally and physically stronger, and to achieve his previously unthinkable goals. The race travels through an epic landscape that changes to reflect the Eros family of fragrances; from the burst of speed at its opening for Eros Energy, through a waterfall representing Eros, and vast rocky terrain for Eros Flame.

The dedication and passion of the film’s protagonist are shared by Channing Tatum himself, an actor, director, and producer whose creative drive has taken him to the top of his profession with roles across film genres. This fearlessness to challenge himself and give energy to his passions is fully in-keeping with the talent Versace champions, and Channing has been a member of Versace’s family since the late 1990s, and he has worn Versace to the MET Gala and attended the iconic Versace Fall-Winter 2023 fashion show in Los Angeles. This is his first Versace campaign and first as the lead talent for any fashion brand.

Eros Energy is inspired by the breathtaking beauty of the mediterranean coastline; the freshness of its scenery, the wildness of the air, and the luxury of a vast Italian vacation.

The fragrance opens with a tantalizing burst of citrus and the sun-kissed essence of Italian bergamot enriched by zesty notes of blood orange, lime, lemon, grapefruit and mandarin. Pink peppercorn and blackcurrant bring intrigue and sensuality at the heart of the fragrance and come together with white amber in a representation of passion and desire. Patchouli adds depth and richness, oakmoss an earthy, green facet, and musk envelops in a warm embrace. The scent’s vibrant summer feeling is reflected in its yellow bottle that continues the Eros fragrance family’s strong visual identity with Versace’s signature Greca and Medusa. A bronze colored cap tops the bottle like a precious jewel.

In the UK, the scent launches at the start of September, and is available as 50m and 100ml Eau de Parfum.
