Mayo-maker Hellman’s and Pretzel-provider, Aunt Anne’s have both launched limited edition fragrances inspired by the food they sell.
Hellman’s have joined forced with Tennessee Titans quarterback, Will Levis, – who went viral for drinking coffee after pouring mayonnaise into it years ago – and are launching Parfum de Mayonnaise : Will Levis No. 8.
Hellman’s say: “Will Levis No.8, Parfum de Mayonnaise opens with a bright burst of tart lemon that provides a refreshing and clean introduction. At the heart of the fragrance lies a creamy, daring mayonnaise accord offering a smooth and complex heart. Parsley adds a fresh herbal element, reminiscent of a well prepared dish. And of course, this fragrance would not be complete without subtle coffee undertones, reminiscent of Will’s signature mayonnaise infused caffeine beverage. A sensual musk base weaves through the composition, evoking physicality and charisma. Finally, we finish off with a comforting creamy vanilla finish that is equal parts inviting and intriguing.”
Hellman’s have partnered with private label perfume manufacturer, K Luxury Fragrances, to make the scent, which is weird as they are owned by Unilever, who make Axe / Lynx fragrances, as well as a plethora of toiletries, so you’d think they’d know how to do it themselves.
Aunt Anne’s have launched Knead: Eau De Pretzel. A perfume with the warm, buttery and slightly sweet scent of hot and handmade pretzels
“There are few scents more recognizable than the aroma of Auntie Anne’s,” said Julie Younglove-Webb, Chief Brand Officer at Auntie Anne’s. “Smell is a special and powerful sense. Over the years, fans have shared their memories and experiences that began with just a whiff of our pretzels. We’ve bottled that moment and can’t wait for fans to enjoy it in a whole new way.”
Pretzel Purveyors can pick up Knead here, and Mayo-lovers can get their hands on Parfum de Mayonaisse here, both available while stocks last.
