Launching officially on September 8th is Kashmir, Ormonde Jayne’s latest fragrance. The scent is a woody fougère, and includes a donation to the Himalayan Trust with every bottle sold online or in the boutique.

The company say: “4000 metres above sea level, with its snowy glaciers and pristine lakes, rivers gush through deep valleys, densely forested with majestic towering Deodar trees. The Valley of Kashmir at this high altitude presents a uniquely breathtaking terrain, home to a diverse array of plants, with meadows blanketed with wild, rare blue poppies and Kashmiri saffron.”

Deodar, from the cedarwood family, is joined by sandalwood and a balsamic Silver fir. Additional notes of iris, rose, jasmine, cashmeran, vanilla and musk are featured.

A 5% donation to a reforestation project at the The Himalayan Trust charity will be made from all purchases of Kashmir bought from Ormonde Jayne’s online or flagship boutique in Mayfair.

Other recent release by the company include Patchouli d’Atlas – a Harrod’s Exclusive, and Harvey Nichols exclusives Belle de Jour and Belle de Nuit

Kashmir will be available from Ormonde Jayne stockists as 88ml Eau de Parfum.
