My Review of Sisley Phyto-Noir Mascara
I have really been enjoying this mascara mainly because I just find it so easy to apply. I often struggle to not make a mess with mascaras, and I end up with product where I don’t want it. But I haven’t had any troubles with this one and I think that’s partly down to the shape of the brush.
The formula glides on to the lashes really precisely and the hourglass-shaped brush somehow just deposits the product exactly where it needs to go without me having to try.
One coat gives the lashes a really pretty, fluttery look with great lift, and two coats intensifies the volume and depth of colour. It is lovely and black, and has a great eye opening effect.
What I really like about this Sisley Phyto-Noir Mascara is how flexible that lashes stay even when the product has dried down. I hate crispy lashes and this formula leaves my eye lashes feeling soft and comfortable. It’s also really nice and long lasting, and doesn’t flake or smudge at all throughout the day. It has great staying power.
In terms of the lash growth benefits, it’s not only too early to say, but also kind of impossible to judge at the moment as I have been using the Sweed Beauty Lash Growth Serum with great results (review here).
I have to say, I think the Sisley Phyto-Noir Mascara and that lash serum make a serious power couple. The Sweed serum* can treat the lashes by night, and Phyto-Noir can treat them by day!!
