In this post, I’m sharing my experience with micro-dosing THC/CBD gummies. We’ll talk about the benefits of THC and CBD and who should and shouldn’t take it. We’ll also talk about the importance of a reputable source for micro-dosing as well as benefits and possible side effects to be aware of. If you are like me and working on quitting or limiting alcohol as well as looking for relief with anxiety, read on-Out of Office gummies might be for you. Plus, I have a coupon code, and it’s a good one!!!
In my Sleepy Girl Mocktail post I talked quite a bit about kicking my wine habit. I quit wine because it stopped being fun and it was effecting my health, mainly my sleep. I miss wine though. I drank wine not really to relax but more to give myself a “treat” at the end of the day. Wine enhanced my night and even sparked energy and creativity. I also enjoyed a good buzz. Over time that slowly ran dry, even my buzz. Wine did not have the same effect and because it hurt my health it became detrimental. I really enjoy my nightly mocktail and most nights it’s all I really want. However, there are nights I’d like a “treat” and a buzz. That’s where Out of Office comes in.
What Is Out Of Office?
Out of Office is a gummy that contains CBD and THC. THC is the part of the hemp plant that gives you a euphoric, high feeling. Without a medical marijuana card, it’s illegal, unless you are micro-dosing which means you are taking only small amounts at a time. Out of Office gummies come in 4 different potencies-The Single 15mg CBD/1.5mg THC, The Double 30mg CBD/3mg THC, The Triple 45mg CBD/6mg THC and The Quad 45mg CBD/10mg THC.

What are the medicinal benefits of THC?
THC has been shown to provide relief from pain and nausea, improve appetite, and is beneficial for certain medical conditions, including some mental health disorders, under proper medical supervision.
According to Soul:
Benefits of THC:
-
Promotes Relaxation: THC has a calming effect that may help reduce feelings of restlessness and worry, allowing users to feel more relaxed. By easing muscle tension and slowing racing thoughts, THC can provide temporary relief from acute anxiety symptoms.
-
Improves Sleep Quality: Anxiety and insomnia often go hand-in-hand, with anxious thoughts leading to difficulty falling or staying asleep. THC’s relaxing effects can help individuals achieve better sleep, which is essential for mental health and managing anxiety levels effectively.
-
Reduces Stress Response: THC can help modulate the body’s response to stress by interacting with the ECS to lower cortisol levels, the hormone associated with stress. Lowering cortisol can reduce the intensity of anxiety symptoms, helping people feel more at ease.
-
Enhanced Social Comfort: For individuals with social anxiety, low doses of THC may improve comfort in social settings, allowing them to feel more at ease in situations that typically cause stress. This benefit can lead to improved quality of life for those who struggle with social interactions.
What is the difference between THC and CBD?
THC is the psychoactive compound that produces the ‘high’, while CBD is non-psychoactive and is often associated with potential health benefits without altering one’s mental state.
Safety Precautions When Micro-Dosing:
- Start low and go slow.
- The legal age to micro-dose is 21.
- Operating heavy machinery such as a car is not advised.
- Traveling with gummies or products that contain THC is not recommended. Each state has different regulations about THC.
- Keep out of the reach of children. They look and taste like candy!
- You very likely will fail a drug test if you are micro-dosing so if you are drug tested, THC is not for you. However, Soul has many CBD products that contain zero THC that help with mood, hormones, anxiety etc.
Side Effects of THC:
Possible side effects of THC are increased heart rate, red eyes, dry mouth, impaired coordination, altered perception, mood changes, anxiety, and cognitive function impairment.
Please note that the Out of Office gummies contain at most 10 mg. of THC which keeps the above side effects to a bare minimum if they occur at all.
Even with the maximum 10 mg. dosage I personally do not experience any of the effects except a tiny amount of dry mouth and an obvious calm that results in falling asleep earlier than usual.
Is it legal to consume THC?
The legality of THC varies by location, with some areas legalizing it for medical and recreational use, while others maintain strict prohibitions, so it’s important to be informed about local laws.
I have barely covered the subject of consuming THC for recreational and medical use. Please read THIS article for absolutely everything you might want to know about it. I do realize that using what was once considered a harmful drug for medicinal and mental health benefits may seem a bit controversial to some.
I believe the hemp plant is a powerful tool in natural health. Everyone is different and it may be the answer for some and not at all for others. For me, my middle age has brought on much anxiety and overwhelming ADHD symptoms. At this point, I am uncomfortable with using a pharmaceutical for anxiety or depression so trying CBD/THC products is my answer that I am comfortable with.

My Personal Experience w/ Out of Office Gummies:
I first bought the Out of Office Double Gummies which contain 3 mg of THC. I feel a slight high but nothing that effects talking or functioning as normal. I feel relaxed and I sleep like a baby. I have a friend who has the Double and she gets a noticable high from it. Everyone is different. The good think about these gummies is that they are easy to cut in half. If you are worried about getting high you can easily take half a dose. I decided to try the Quad gummies which have 10mg. I do feel a slight high with these but again, I don’t look high (droopy, blood shot eyes) and I can carry on a conversation. I will say, the 10mg puts me to sleep earlier than usual. It’s not something I would take before watching a movie. It’s also not something I would take before going to a party as an alcohol alternative. I can’t speak for other’s but these gummies don’t affect me in the same way a glass of wine would. They make me so chill and definitely not in a party mode.
Below is how I feel on 10mg of THC in the best way possible. 😂 I had to include this pic-it cracks me up. And yes, it does come from an anti drug commercial.

I think these gummies are so beneficial for someone who struggles to calm their body and mind. These gummies can calm anxiety as well as relieve sleep problems. If you drink alcohol to relax and would like to curb it, these gummies are perfect for you. I might add that the Out of Office also comes in a liquid if you’d prefer to add it to a mocktail! I can’t state enough how much these gummies have improved my sleep. Every single time I wake up feeling so impressed with how well I slept.
I’ve also tried the Sleepi Gummies which are THC free for those of you looking for a better sleep without THC. They work well on the nights I don’t take Out of Office.

THC Gummies vs. Wine/Cocktail For Me:
- Gummies greatly improve my sleep where as alcohol upsets my sleep greatly.
- Gummies don’t make me need to use the restroom all night where as alcohol makes me pee sometimes 2+ times a night.
- Gummies make me too chilled out to be creative or energetic where as alcohol helps me get into an energetic state (sometimes).
- Gummies are predictable and don’t make me have unexpected mood swings where as alcohol can be unpredictable with my mood.
- Gummies have no effect on my digestive system where as alcohol can cause stomach upset and nausea.
- Gummies don’t make me feel hungover AT ALL where as alcohol gives me a headache and queasiness the next day.
- Gummies make me chilled out and sleepy where as alcohol makes me talkative and fun (sometimes).
About Soul:
Soul is a company run by a brother and sister who have dealt with an autoimmune disease, addiction to pain killers as well as ADHD and anxiety issues. They both found permanent relief in CBD products and developed their own CBD company in order to spread the word of this natural solution that is not being talked about by doctors and mainstream healthcare professionals.
What I like about Soul is that they are one of the most affordable and accessible CBD company while not sacrificing quality. With the hemp plant, finding organic CBD oils and gummies is imperative because this plant is often heavily sprayed with pesticides. Also, Soul triple tests their products insuring quality as well as confirming the amount of milligrams the package says is accurate. Triple testing is very important if you are subject to drug testing. It ensures there is zero amounts of THC in the CBD only products. You can find the Certificate of Analysis for every product on the website.
Each batch of gummies tastes so good. They are scientifically formulated to maximize bioavailability and effectiveness. All their products are USA grown, organically farmed and gluten free.
I’m excited to use this coupon to try their CBD oil. My daughter and I experience moderate bouts of anxiety and I think we could both benefit from using CBD daily. Soul’s CBD oil is THC free. I also am looking into their Big Brain Capsules and Harmony Gummies which address hormones as well as energy and mood issues.
I encourage you to check out Soul and all the products they offer. To be honest, I’ve been an affiliate of 2 other CBD companies over the last 5 years. I never shared them with you because they were so overpriced and I wasn’t really seeing any change in my daily life. I felt it ingenuine to share even though I have always believed in the power of CBD. Now that I’ve stumbled upon Soul and been using Out of Office for a couple months, I found myself excited to share it. I’m also excited to start using a daily CBD oil again and hope it may be a solution for the anxiety my daughter is experiencing. And as a side note-she is 16 and won’t be trying Out of Office. I’m meaning the THC free CBD oil which is legal for her to try.
I sought out Soul and asked to become an affiliate. I paid for each product and am not getting paid to write this post. You might already know but I stopped accepting random PR packages years ago. If you purchase through my links in this post and use my coupon code, I will get a small commission. Blogging isn’t cheap so it’s exciting to find a company and product I love that offers a commission.
