I was very excited when I received the latest additions to the Prisme Libre makeup range because I absolutely love the foundations. Here’s the low down on the Givenchy Beauty Prisme Libre Skin Caring Concealer & Corrector collection. I have photos and swatches for you.

What is Givenchy Beauty Prisme Libre Skin Caring Concealer?

• This is Givenchy’s first 24 hour wear concealer
• Multi-purpose formula which promises to conceal, correct and unify and provide 24 hour hydration and radiance

There are three corrector shades in the collection and they share the skincare formula of the Concealers above, with 24 hour hydration and radiance.

They each have buildable coverage, 95{2ac9033caf61aa83cf45584f992fcbdbe657ee6f770037f39c3ded45073822b8} natural origin ingredients and a comfortable lightweight formula that melts into the skin.

The Corrector is available in three shades to match different skin tones:

• Green Corrector – reduces the look of redness, blemishes and colour irregularities including hyperpigmentation
• Blue Corrector – designed to balance yellow undertones and illuminate dullness
• Peach Corrector – neutralises dark circles and sallowness

My Review of the Givenchy Beauty Prisme Libre Skin Caring Concealer & Corrector

I really love the texture of this concealer and corrector. It feels like a silky serum and much more of a skincare product than a makeup product. It really melts into the skin effortlessly and gives a lovely smooth and plumped up looking finish.

Both formulas deliver a beautiful radiance and genuinely feels lovely and hydrating. It doesn’t really feel like you have anything on other than skincare yet it gives a lovely skin perfecting finish.

Both the corrector and the concealer have medium buildable coverage. It is definitely a medium though. So if you’re more of a full coverage person, this may not be enough for you.

Having said that, I think the medium coverage is actually a positive because the finish is so brightening and smoothing.

I think they have hit the right balance between pigment and the hydrating serum-like texture so that it never settles into fine lines or wrinkles. It just continues to hydrate and moisturise the skin as you wear it. If you have a dry or mature skin type, I think you will love it.

My Shades

Out of the three concealer shades that I was sent, I think my best match is C240, but I can also make W245 work, as you will see in this video.

I wear shade N160 in the Matte Skin Caring foundation (swatches here) and shade N150 in the Glow formula (swatches here). I’d probably be the same shade in both formulas however I didn’t have the N160 in the glow.

It would be interesting to try some neutral shades in the concealer, but I am actually very happy with the C240.

In terms of the Corrector, I have experimented with playing with all of them in this video, however, I think the Peach will be the one I go to more, for lightly layering under my C240 Concealer to get the perfect level of brightness and coverage.

A layer of Peach and a layer of the concealer is lovely, but I can totally get away with just the concealer too.
