Lisa Eldridge Liquid Lurex Review & Swatches

Liquid Lurex is a lovely liquid eyeshadow that delivers a wet look shine. There are lots of shades, and Titania, Cressida and Viola are the newest additions to the line up. The formula itself isn’t new. I believe they launched in 2021, but I haven’t tried them before so I wanted to share.

  • Lightweight formula
  • Creamy texture
  • Wet-look finish
  • Long lasting shine
  • Available in 14 shades

I love the way they glide on to the skin. You get a good bit of play time before they dry down and set, and then once they do, you get a really great long lasting finish.

You can apply straight from the wand and then blend out for a sparkly wash of colour. If you want a more intense result, you can apply an additional layer to build of the coverage and depth of colour.

You can also use it as an eyeliner and it works beautifully smudged along the lower lash line for a soft, shimmery smokiness. I love Viola for this.

As it’s a budge proof formula, I’d recommend using a dedicated eye makeup remover or cleansing oil for taking it off. Check out my Best Eye Makeup Remover on a Budget 2023 post for some options.
